Once upon a time, in a small village filled with colorful houses, lived children with hearts as vivid as rainbows. Each child had a special color glowing within them that showed their feelings. One sunny day, Blue, who was always calm and sad, met Red, who was always fiery and mad.

Red was stomping around the playground because her sandcastle had been stepped on. She was fuming, with smoke coming out of her ears like a little dragon. Blue came by, and his deep blue color shined softly, trying to cool Red’s anger like a gentle stream.

But Red didn't want to calm down and shouted, 'I don't need your rain! I want to be mad!' This made Blue feel sadder, and he turned a darker shade of blue as he walked away, leaving Red alone with her fiery red anger, which now had no one to argue with.

Next, up popped Yellow, cheerful and as bright as the sun, who tried to cheer Red up with a laugh and a dance. But Red was not in the mood for smiling and barked at Yellow, 'Leave me alone! Can't you see I'm angry?' And so, with a small frown, Yellow bounced away.

It wasn't long before Green, who was bursting with curiosity and always asked a hundred questions, came by. 'Why did your sandcastle get stepped on? Did you see who did it? Can you rebuild it?' But Red just roared louder, 'Go away with your questions!' So Green, feeling unwanted, walked away.

With Red left by herself, she noticed the silence around her. She began to feel not just angry, but lonely too. It was then that a new feeling appeared – Purple, a mix of Blue's calm and Red's fire. Purple approached softly and said, 'It's okay to be mad, but friends can help you feel better.'

Red's fiery heart began to cool down as Purple sat beside her. She realized that her friends' colors had been trying to brighten her day. With a deep breath, Red’s color turned to a warm orange, no longer just mad, but also thankful for her friends. From then on, the children of the village learned to mix their feelings, creating a beautiful rainbow of understanding and friendship.
